Hello, world.

puts "Hello, world."

This is the first post on my blog. I’ve been meaning to write a few articles for a while. I have varied interests in startups, business, technology, poker, board games, pool, nature, books, maps, history, meditation, health, wellness, exercise, and many other areas.

The next post I’m going to write is about how the bail bonds industry works, something I went very deep into for a couple of months back in 2015, but never got around to writing up.

After that, I’m going to write a series of posts about how to scale a small startup to huge revenue with some deep examples of other companies that have done this successfully.

The Shogun story is pretty interesting too. I’d like to share a lot of the mistakes and lessons learned along the way. Lots of startup founders start second and third companies hoping to avoid the mistakes they’ve made in the past and invariably end up making new ones. Hopefully some of the lessons I’ve learned will help people avoid some of the mistakes I’ve made.

I’ll probably publish some of the super detailed maps of cities I’ve made along the way, along with my methodology for evaluating where to live as a startup founder.

People might find it interesting to read about how meditation has helped me with anxiety and stress over the years.
